Lateral Networking Help
Feeling kind of down. At a BB in a top group (think BAML Levfin, Citi M&A, Barclays P&U, CS sponsors) and am interested in lateraling to a different bank due to personal reasons unrelated to my group. I've spent months reaching out to specific groups at different banks and have had 0 response. As a college student I have more responses and now my response rate is 0 over the course of 4 months. Not sure what to do at this point and feeling dejected. I've been through this process before so I know i'm not wording emails wrong or anything. Any advice one can offer?
Don’t bother networking. Just cold apply and reach out to friends asking if they know of any positions available.
