Lateral to London/UK from NYC/US
Looking to lateral to an IB/PE/finance role in London or UK from a NYC MM IB, anyone have any experience or insight?
Currently a first year analyst at one of the larger MM IB's in NYC. With PE recruiting underway already, it's making me think about what I want to do at the end of next summer or even end of this summer. I'm from the Midwest and currently love living in NYC but think living in London/UK for a couple years would be a great experience. Kind of getting to the point where if I don't do it now, I probably never will. I like my role in IB now but wouldn't be too picky on if the role I ended up taking was in IB, PE or other higher finance. Does anyone have any experience recruiting for roles in the UK coming from the US? Any insight, tips, thoughts?
