Leaving Off-cycle internship early for Full time roll

Hi, I'm currently an off-cycle intern at a PE/VC fund, I am currently 9 months into a 12-month internship, but I recently got a full-time offer from another fund for an analyst position and 3x how much i make a month as an intern. I am concerned about leaving on a good note given i made a commitment for 12 months but there is no chance of conversion at my current job.

How should i approach speaking to my MD about this, anyone who had a similar experience how did you do it?

In this industry you are a commodity. Don‘t overestimate youself by emotionalising these things. The other stint is clearly better. Don‘t feel bad for leaving. What do you think would the bank do in times of cost cutting or when there is a better candidate? No emotions. Just business.
