Looking for a Sophomore Summer Investment Banking Internship
Currently, I am a second-year at a target school with a high GPA. I have applied to every BB program for Sophomores that I quality for. However, now I am not sure what else I can do. I have sent well over a hundred cold emails but have rarely gotten a response other than "come back next year". I'm not really sure what else I can do and what firms in either NYC or Chicago would even consider me. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Who did you target with your emails, and what was your wording? Did you directly ask for an internship or request an informational interview?
I usually did informational. Should we rather just ask directly now that things seem to be moving quickly?
I reached out to a number of small investment banks basically asking for a quick chat about their firm and all.
