Looking for career progression advice

Hi,

I am currently pursuing an MSc in Finance with only thesis left. Currently have a fixed-term gig at an mid-tier supranational (IFI). I have a supervision offer from the ECB but I am concerned that if I decide to pursue it I will categorize myself as a risk professional. At my current position I might be able to rotate towards more middle office gig.

My goal is to work in FO (S&T, ER) or something similar. Would this internship make it harder for me to achieve this positions?

Thanks in advance for any inputs :)
