Low gpa and non finance internship as a senior. Advice for employment/life postgrad?

Sorry for the lengthy post, new here, but I thought this would be the best place to get feedback

I’m graduating in May from a Miami (OH) with a BA in Econ, minor in business as well. I’m somewhat worried about what the future holds for me as I have a less than outstanding academic record and a non-finance internship. I have some experience in economic research and analysis through different projects, but nothing regarding real work at a firm. I have some good connections with people in baking, real estate, and investing, but not much in the way of leads and people close to me within banking and the business sector at large. Though I’m a senior, it is still very early in the first semester, so I have some time to prepare.

I’m quarreling with the paths I could take. I chose an Economics major and a minor in Business (formerly finance) for two main reasons. The reasons being are that it genuinely interests me, and because a career in such a field can provide a comfortable living. However, I was unaware for too long of what it took to break into that world, particularly banking and finance. Furthermore, I’ve started to question if it’s even the right path for me. My strengths lie within people and intrapersonal interactions as opposed to analytical thinking. Although I’ve always been very good with math and numbers, I don’t seem to have as much of a passion for it. I’ve also started to question whether to stay in southern Ohio (where I’ve lived most of my life), or to change my environment and move somewhere else, such as the east coast or DMV area after graduation.

The way I see it, my options are: - Find a low level role in finance/banking and potentially get an MBA down the line - Do something/get lucky and land a job postgrad that I’m not qualified for (at least nominally) - Completely switch my path and try something new in a different field/environment

So, is there any advice/recommendations on how to navigate the situation I’ve found myself in and the subsequent uncertainty? Whether it’s about how to find a job and start a career, how to work what connections I do have/make new connections, or how to begin a new journey in a different field/environment, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
