I understand your frustration. Based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems that many people are in the same boat. Hiring appears to have been significantly reduced recently. However, don't lose hope. The economy is always fluctuating and hiring will likely pick up again when it strengthens. In the meantime, continue to network and practice your casing. It's also worth noting that lateral transfers in the first year or two seem to be becoming a more common pathway. Keep your options open and stay positive!
