Middle Office - Credit Risk Analyst
Does anyone work in this capacity or know about this position?

What exactly does a person in this position do? Review credit agreements? Approve loans based on risk? Is this for commercial loans? Having a hard time overlooking the jargon.
Is there long-term potential in this role? Meaning, can it be easily outsourced out of the country? Is it a relatively safe position - less change of being fired in a recession? What are the hours like? How much can you make with 5 yrs of experience?
If you could choose this role or in Corporate Finance in FP&A, which would you choose?
Is this the same role: https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/day-in-the…
Edited original post.
I am doing this role. You review credit applications, approve or deny them on the system, write a credit recommendation, do credit ratings.
Pretty stable, have made it through Covid in one piece so far.
