Hello all,
I gave my friend a template of my reference letter with my signature and allowed him to write what ever he wants.
Fast forward, today I found out that I did not update the reference letter which still includes the name of the old company used to work for. Is my friend totally screwed in the recruitment process and is there anything i can do to resolve this?
Also will this affect me legally?
I would imagine they would just toss it in the burn pile and leave it at that if it's particularly glaring, nothing you can do about it now for your "friend." Definitely will not effect you legally, don't be paranoid.
