Most secure jobs in finance during a downturn

Hi all-

I’ve started recruiting for IB after a 1-year hiatus from a professional career, but have been worried about the impacts of a potential deep recession and how that would effect job security. What are the most secure or recession-proof finance jobs? Obviously certain coverage groups are better positioned than others, but am thinking more along the lines of IB vs Corp Dev vs Consulting, etc.. Also, more secure at a successful boutique than larger firm?
