Moving to the states. Possible with IB?

Hi guys, As I am nearing the end of my Master's program, I am starting to think about future goals and dreams.

I have always wanted to live and work in the United States. It seems like the perfect place for young people to strive for higher goals. Sure, not everything is perfect (some may say), but where is that the case?

So I wanted to ask about experiences of people who have taken the plunge and emigrated to the US as part of their finance job. Is it possible to do this with one of the international institutions? At what level should one aim for (I can't imagine a bank would transfer a junior they could hire off the street over there)? Is it easier to get a job/transfer if you get a green card yourself?

Any additional information/comments would be great.
