Need help deciding on an internship opportunity

Hi primates,

I just received an offer from a boutique AM firm (10bn AUM) as a client services intern. Ultimately I want to do banking but due to a low-ish GPA I have had trouble just finding an internship, let alone one in IB. So, would it be smart for me to accept this offer or continue looking for other relevant experience (maybe PWM or other AM roles)?

Essentially, would I be able to leverage a client relationships internship into something bigger down the line, or is this opportunity a waste of time?
