need urgent advice, let go after 1 year should I try for a masters in finance?

Basically I did ECM my junior year but it was a boutique so they did not do returns, was at a buy side firm for the past year and let go a couple weeks ago, my boss was insanely unorganized basically he fired me because this lady left and then he fired me once she wanted to rejoin because he said he didn't want to pay 2 salaries it was a $1Bn AUM fund but the fees he was taking were pretty small. Anyways now I am thinking about either getting some applications into msf programs or switching to tech sales because I feel like at the moment I have no shot to get a decent job within finance, do I even have a shot to get a new job in finance or should I just switch my focus to tech sales. Feeling lost any advice would be much appreciated.
