Network Before Internship Starts?
I have an IB internship this summer which was shortened and virtual like most other programs. I have been worried about return offers with such a shortened length and an unprecedented setup. I've read past threads that said its not necessary to network with people at the bank before the internship since you'll be around them so much, but with this situation, could return offers come down to those that already have a stronger network at the firm to bat for them?
