Networked with person in charge of recruiting. Had a great chat. Is it likely they pushed my resume through?

Hey guys I'm very new to this networking process. A few weeks ago, I had a chat with a higher up (part of C-Suite of TMT) at a MM who was in charge of TMT recruiting for the NYC office (I emailed an MD at this firm who told me to chat this person up). Anyways, we had a zoom call and it went great. I asked him at the end for some contacts of analysts that I could chat with and he gave me some in the reply to my thank you email.

Is there a good chance that he will push my resume through? I'm just trying to understand if I'm doing this whole networking properly.

If it is the case that I'm on the "list," is it safe to chill with the networking for this firm? I guess from any of your perspectives as individuals on the recruiting team, how likely were you to put a person's name on the list if you had a good chat?

Thanks in advance guys!

The way I think about it is like this: if he didn't at least want to help you out would he have taken the time to send you those names? If they take the time to respond/ do or offer a favor, chances are they like you and want to help you. Think about it from the other side – if you didn't gaf about the kid you're just going to ghost and if you like them you'll be responsive
