worked in S&T last summer and networking was heavily emphasized there (basically need to network with most of the people on your desk/floor to get an offer; 3-5 coffee chats per day). I am doing IB internship this summer and heard that networking isn’t as extensive in an IB summer? So should I still schedule lots of phone calls/virtual meetings etc. with the team or just mostly focus on my own work?
