Networking from a Mid-Sized Non-Target School

I am currently a sophomore at a mid-sized non-target school (similar to Villanova) in the northeast. Over the summer, I spent as much time as I could connecting with alumni in the industry, mainly analysts and associates. Now that I'm feeling more comfortable reaching out to more senior staff members, I've been connecting with VPs and MDs.

However, I am realizing that many firms I hope to apply to in the spring have a small representation from my college in their IBD. For example, I was looking at an EB bank on LinkedIn today, and ~10 alumni from my college work there, all of them in something other than IB

Do you have any recommendations on how I may reach IB members at these banks where my college has a small presence? I am planning on connecting with the non-IB firm members as well, but is there another way to reach those IB members?
