Networking with future colleagues before the summer

Going to be interning this upcoming summer and was thinking about reaching back out to the people I had the most exposure to in the interview/networking process in the coming weeks to reconnect and build connections with others whom I'll be sharing an office with.

Is it too early to do so? And when talking to people who I haven't spoken with before, should I start my conversations with my TMAY, or should I maybe consolidate a bit just to prevent myself from sounding robotic.
