Next move?
During my superday at a BB i-bank, I had an especially constructive interview with a VP who grilled me on both fit and technical, but was very personable and I felt I hit it off with. He replied to my follow-up thank you email, which I thought was unusual seeing that most interviewers don't, and asked me to contact him should I have any further questions. Now that I'm still on hold for the division, how should I best use that to my advantage so I can move towards getting an offer? I'm afraid of screwing things up... would appreciate any advice - thanks in advance!
The decision is out of your hands. Just sit tight and wait for the call back.
Contact him, if the decision has been made the decision has been made, you cannot do anything about it. If not, he can maybe tell you when to expect the feedback and outcome so it is clear for you.
Don't overdo the communication with the guy...give it a couple days or a week and send him an email re-iterating your strong interest the position, etc...
