No reply?

Okay, so I cold emailed a bunch of alums from my school and spoke with them on the phone. All were analyst level individuals. At first, they responded to my emails within hours.

But after speaking with them I sent them a thank you email and to let them know the time I will be there, and none has replied so far for almost 2 days.

I have a couple of theories, why none of them has responded.

1. They suddenly became busy and have not found the time to respond OR they don't have time for a ten minute coffee...

2. They were not impressed with our chat on the phone and said yes to meeting me in order to be polite.

3. Or simply they are unsure of their schedules and need time to think over it.

If any of you guys have any experience with this, please let me know.

You waited 2 days? Just wait a bit more. Personally, I had someone circle back with me a couple months afterwards to talk about an internship opportunity. Just throw your name out there, and they will remember you when they need you.
