I had a call with an alumnus and he said that he would introduce his colleagues on his team to me. I sent him a thank you email after our call (in 2 hours), and two days passed he has not replied to my email yet. Is it because he's really busy and forgot to reply, or our call was actually bad? How often bankers would reply to thank you emails after a call?

No one ever responds to thank you emails. Don’t read into it.
Two possibilities. First is they're swamped. Second is that they just said that to get off the phone; many bankers will agree to that with no intention of doing it if they don't really like you.
