Non-recruiter Networking Utility
Hey guys,
Hope everyone's having a good holiday (and Thanksgiving, for those celebrating)!!
I had a question regarding networking with people not involved with the recruitment process and how helpful that is. My school has a dedicated recruitment team- and sometimes I'm able to find/get referred to the people actually on the team but other times I'm networking with associates/VPs (or even analysts) who're not on the team.
Apart from getting referred to somebody on the team, can these bankers help me with recuitment at all? Do they have a say, and if so is their pull enough to actually help you?
