Hopefully I can get some opinions. I currently work in the mortgage industry and primarily deal with residential mortgages. I am looking to break into the commercial industry and was thinking about taking a few classes at NYU SPS. NYU SPS offers classes in commercial real estate underwriting and real estate finance. I have seen some mixed reviews on taking classes from NYU SPS. Does anyone think these classes would look good on a resume and help add some experience? I already have a masters in economics and really did not want to do a another degree. I really would like to break into commercial mortgage underwriting. Any opinions would be helpful.
