Online finance courses worth it?

I am an incoming freshman studying business at Michigan Ross. Ever since I was in high school, I've been doing online finance courses to learn more about the finance industry. Though I still want to continue this habit, I'm not sure if doing online courses would be any help for me in securing internships / jobs in the future. Also, I was wondering that instead of doing these online courses, would it be more worth it for me to get certifications (CAIA, Series 7, etc…)?

Some examples of online finance courses that I'm interested right now are FMVA (offered by CFI) and similar financial modelling courses offered by the New York Institute of Finance (NYIF).

Could any of you give me your take on this? Are there specific online courses that would be beneficial for me in getting a job/internship? Thanks in advance.
