Opinions on my path
Hey everyone!
I'm currently a rising junior in quantitative finance and management information systems with an internship this summer at the mergers and acquisitions team
I've already started applying for summer 2023 internships, do you guys reckon I have a decent chance at scoring an interview?
I really want to experience the consulting/IB world and feel that a name could get me through the door for my 2023 internship. Also, does anyone know of any reputable firms that are still open for applications?

According to Management Consulted (who seems to track those), for 2023 it should be:
- Bain:
• Adv degree candidates, June 12
• Associate Consultant, July 11
• AC Intern, July 11
- BCG:
• Adv degree candidates, July 11
• Associate, July 14
• Summer Associate, July 21
- McKinsey:
• Adv degree candidates, June 15
• Business Analyst, July 7 (edit: corrected from July 15)
• Summer Business Analyst, July 7

By the way, do you know if consulting is as networking heavy as IB? If so, Ive already started talking to people in roles at these companies but would love some further insight.
