Opportunities abroad with a degree in Germany

I am currently studying real estate economics at a German university.
Now the question is, what are my chances of switching the job abroad (America or similar)? - Preferably in real estate investment banking or real estate consulting.
How much are people with a real estate background needed there and is the real estate industry just as big as here in Germany?
