Paying for a Job

This all theoretical, but probably happened before, but could paying someone to help you get a position work?

Imagine you are an analyst/associate hell, maybe even a VP and you expressed that you really want this role and will do anything for it. If you were to pay or state a contract for instance like “I’ll give you $5k immediately if I get the job, then $5k annually for the next 2 years” would someone accept that offer? Obviously it’s contingent on getting the position, so not guaranteed money, but could help chances. (You could offer like a low initial $100 or something just for the help, but this doesn’t seem realistic). The main idea behind this is you are trying to get a good paying or prestigious position, which will help you accumulate more money in the LT. The employee, as long as they’re not an idiot and expose themselves, could vouch for you heavily and try to boost your chances of you getting the position. Worst case scenario, you don’t get the job and the employee vouched for no reason, best case scenario, you get the job and they get money. Seems like a win-win. Unethical practices for personal gain in business is nothing new! What do y’all think about this?

Also please let’s forget the idea of “blackmail” and this agreement being sent to the employer.
