What I think = Meh, I wouldn’t work at any of those I listed (RBC I would consider)

Honestly, PIMCO is a great company and if you land there I wouldn’t see why you would want to go to IB unless your true passion is making money.

PIMCO is a large and reputable shop that has been growing like crazy this past year. Pay is competitive and you’ll have a good WLB.

I would say go for it, it will still set you up for Junior year if you wanna do IB.

By client facing role do you mean a client service associate? If so, disregard the above commenter (especially if you’re looking to recruit for IB). It depends what the role is at the big 4 and BB.

Having PIMPco on your resume is a lot of cash... personally would not do 2 years in IB if I could land a research/investment role at PIMCO out of undergrad. To answer your question, no, having PIMCO on your resume would do you zero harm if you wanted to recruit for IB.
