Please help: Data Scientist trying to get back into banking

Hi all,

I messed up really badly.

I started my data science gig doing tech-related stuff right out of college in summer of 2019. I thought it would be interesting and fun.

The summer before, I interned at a MM bank for capital markets.

I've realized I made a huge mistake going into tech as I'm not really interested in the work I'm doing and really miss the banking environment (shocking, I know).

I'm having extreme trouble with securing interviews as I'm no longer a college senior and in a role that offers really no translatable skillsets into general finance/banking.

Can anyone give me advice here? I feel so lost and stuck. Grateful for any advice.
