Possibility of career switch from Pharmacist to Finance industry at 25

Hey guys, this is my first post here, so nice to meet you all!

I am a recent pharmacy graduate, and have started working as a community pharmacist. Although it pays relatively well and is stable, it is also something that I unfortunately lost passion for over the years in pharmacy school. Therefore, I am strongly considering changing my career.

As a traditional science student, I was only able to take a handful of business courses as electives. However, I really enjoyed the fundamental finance and accounting courses. I am currently 25 yrs old, and my ultimate goal is to work hard, get into a lucrative field that I have a passion for, and earn enough money to live a comfortable life.

As of now, I'm leaning towards doing something in finance due to potential higher earnings. However, if switching into accounting is the more feasible and realistic option compared to finance, then I will strongly consider that as well.

The real issue is that I don't know where to start in pursuing a career in finance (=financial analyst, corporate finance, etc). I am not sure whether it is best to go for a CFA or MBA, go back to school for a finance or accounting degree, or simply taking a lower paying finance related job (=selling insurance, mutual funds for companies such as WFG, Primerica, etc) to get my feet wet at this time.

It would be much appreciated if anyone can shed some light on the most realistic or practical way towards possibly jump-starting a career in either finance or accounting, and whether it is really worth it to do so right now. Thanks in advance :)
