PwC Corporate Finance Questions

I was wondering if anyone could provide some information on PwC and their corporate finance group. Any information you could provide on any of the offices, the types of interviews, interview questions (how technical), work-life balance comp would be greatly appreciated. Have an interview coming up soon so anything would be helpful. If you would prefer you can send me a pm. I have silver bananas available

I interviewed with PwC CF group.

  1. Phone screening: The recruiter calls you to confirm your name, school, location of the position, your preferred salary range, etc...no phone interview and it only lasted for 10 minutes. The recruiter tells you that your information and salary requirements are forwarded to the hiring manager who sets up a call if interested.
  2. The hiring manager asked if I wanted to revise my salary requirements because PwC CF would not move forward with a $55- $60K base for a position in Chicago (Are you kidding me?!). I asked, " what would the total comp be?" He replied, $50-54K all inclusive and no relocation assistance", my response, "Thank you for taking the time to speak with me, but I am no longer interested"

Thank god I turned them down, I was offered a gig at a boutique PE a week after.

Everyone has a difference experience. I still have the recruiter's information as well as email, so your so called incorrect claim is incorrect.
