PWM, Bachelor’s Degree in Finance Exit opportunities
Hello all,
I’m currently a Financial Advisor for a larger regional wealth management firm and I am looking for some ideas for exit opportunities as being an FA is not what I want to do long term.
I enjoy the communication aspect and being able to explain my thinking to clients about investments and I do enjoy the sales aspect to an extent, but I really enjoy the research and analytical side. My firm pushes us to just use managers and push more products that sometimes are in the best interest of the client, i am realizing although the upside on money can be great that this isn’t the career I would want.
I am still only 26 have a bachelors in finance and have AWMA. Thought I would look to see what some options are as I know PWM doesn’t typically offer the best exit opportunities. Open to ideas!
Try looking into roles in Equity Research at banks. That is much more direct research and analytics. Or look into a role at a F500
