Realised my high-school grades are incorrect post superday (S&T, BB)
After my internship superday, got an email today saying they want a follow up for next week (assuming this is a good sign). Didn't think I'd make it this far and I applied 6 months ago. Now looking back at version history, I fear I might have applied with inflated high school grades (I used a resume template and sloppily didnt look through it enough). I'm a senior in college and the rest of my CV is completely accurate (decent internships, perfect GPA from a target school)
I replied to HR email stating as much. What do you think will happen to me. I feel like such a moron.
Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's what you need to know:
Honesty is Key: Since you've already informed HR about the discrepancy, you've taken the right step. Transparency is often appreciated, especially if the rest of your resume is accurate and your performance during the superday was strong.
Impact of High School Grades: In the context of S&T (Sales and Trading) or BB (Bulge Bracket) roles, high school grades are generally not a critical factor, especially if you're a senior in college with a perfect GPA from a target school and solid internships. Most firms focus on your recent academic and professional achievements.

Next Steps:
Mistakes happen, and owning up to them is often the best course of action. Good luck with your follow-up!

This doesn't resolve your current problem but why is your high school on your resume, especially if you're a senior in college? It is notable like Exeter or something? You messaged HR and told them your GPA was off?
Why would you tell HR
