Reason for Switching Jobs

I’ve seen many opportunities for roles that pay materially more than what I currently make working in AM. I’ve been applying and talking with HR folks at various firms. One of my main responses when asked why I am applying is that I’d like to have more diversity in terms of property type, since my current role is focused on essentially one property type. I also bring up that I’d like to take on additional responsibilities.

Are these good reasons, or do I need something better than this?

I would try to expand a bit. Maybe give examples/reasons why you like exploring more product types.

Additional responsibilities are a bit generic. I'd look at the job posting and explain to them why you want to do the responsibilities laid out. Why would that interest you/what do you bring to the table to complete them.

I agree with Bigmonkey1through7 - you need to be specific about why you want to do different product types. What interests you about office, retail, multi, why can't you scratch that itch in your current role, and why would X company specifically give you everything your heart desires.
