Recently made redundant and looking for advice

I was recently made redundant from a graduate trade support role at a BB (satellite location) due to restructuring, and I'm looking for some advice on my next career step. My background is in applied mathematics (masters, PhD), and I have some programming experience (Python, SQL, Matlab). I have received a job offer for a credit risk analyst role (falls on reporting side, also based in satellite location), and I'm not sure whether this would be a good career move for me or not. The job rank and salary are below what I had hoped for given my qualifications and experience, but I am concerned that if I turn down this opportunity then I may be out of work for a while.

Aside from the redundancy, two of my family members passed away within days of each other, and I feel that my experience over the past year has really knocked my confidence. Ideally, I would like to have the confidence to push for a FO/MO role in S&T or IBD, and moving to a hub location (London) would not be a concern for me.
