So I recently finished up a great BO position in product control in an okay city that I don't want to stay in. I'm speaking with someone from HR on Friday to talk about potential employment with the bank after i finish my MSF, her and my supervisor have both expressed their interest in me working there full time. My two main goals out of grad school are to either break into equity research or a finance role at a top tech company.
What do you think would be the best way to go about handling this call? I feel bad for making them sound like a backup plan but I really did learn a lot from there and don't want to shut them out completely. If I express my interest in moving to FO in another city I doubt that would go over well either. Really stuck on this one, any advice is much appreciated.
