Recruiting with active buyer?
Working on a sell side (at a smaller firm fwiw) and we’ve received an LOI from a PE firm. Been handling diligence with a few of their junior folks and really like them / would like to work together in the future.
The PE firm recently put up a posting for a 2024 Associate role. Would it be weird or wrong to reach out to the folks I know there and apply? Or am I overthinking this? Anybody been in a similar situation? Thanks in advance.
