Regretful Non-Finance Grad Seeks Entry Level Finance Employment
Hi,
I recently graduated with a degree in Broadcast Production and hate my current job. I want to make more money and am interested in financial services. I have been taking an intro Finance class online and want to break into either investment management or trading. Is there a solid way to get a decent entry level job in either of these fields? Any advice for finding positions in this competitive field?
start studying for the CFA
For one thing, I'd encourage you to drop the desire to be a trader and focus on getting into asset management. CFA's a good start, and pursuing an MSF degree is another route.
