Barclays has a generalist pool for full time. While your group placement for SA may make it harder for you to interview for FT positions at other banks you will still have a good shot at switching to coverage for full time.
Surprisingly enough there are a good number of people who move from coverage to product and vice versa for full time.

No. One summer doesn't direct your career industry/coverage/product area for full time. Not getting a return offer will screw you however so focus on that
May be easier to get a FT offer in something like ECM/DCM given that hours etc are usually better...as someone as mentioned re: Barclays being generalist, you may have a (relatively) easier time getting the FT offer and could do m&a type of work FT...
