Screwed up. Need advice (former BB IB SA)

Hello

I am here to seek advice on my unique situation. I am a 4th year student (graduating August 2019) at a university in Canada. I worked at a megabank (S&T) in Asia after my 2nd year and a BB IB (Asia) after my 3rd year. I even had a full time offer from the BB IB after the internship. However, due to personal circumstances which I am not proud about, I took time off university and declined the offer from the BB. I loved the work (and the benefits) of working in finance. However, due to my gap and age, I am worried I am no longer qualified.

I need advice what kind of finance jobs, I can still break into in Canada and the steps I need to take to get there. Thank you.

Personal circumstances?

What do you mean your gap and age? How long exactly was the gap?

If you were strong enough to get a BB IB full time offer, you likely have reasonable stats (3.8+), so just keep applying to start after graduation. You should be ok, but might have to start at a MM IB.
