Search fund internship after MM PE freshman summer
I’m a sophomore at a semi-target. Was in MM PE last summer and am wondering if I should pick up a winter search fund internship to add to my resume before recruiting season. Would it look bad to go from “proper” PE over the summer to a search fund during the school year?
There's very little incremental value to be added here...just spend the time on networking/other things
It wouldn’t hurt you but the help you get may not be much. Like the interviewers won’t view that as a “wow this kid is competent” but it will be helpful to demonstrate that you are serious about finance
