Should I call the big4 partner that interviewed me?

Interview took place 2.5 weeks ago. I've called the HR countless times and they keep telling me they need more time to decide. Keep in mind this is for internship. I had an interview 2 days before Xmas-- and their excuse is everyone went on break so they aren't able to get any feedback from my interviewers.

I'm fed up with waiting. I have the phone # for partner. Should I just ring him and ask him what's up?

It already mid jan and accounting internships have all begun. Idk wtf is happening

No that sounds right, takes Big 4 people time to get their shit together over the holidays. Finance seems a little different but Big 4 HR may get pissy if u call too much, so tread lightly. The only thing you need to know is if you missed the boat or not, and either way, it's busy season so you should hear back very soon.

Thanks for reply bro. When i reached out to HR last week they told me they'll get back to me as soon as they hear back from my interviewers. This tells me i haven't missed the boat.

Hopefully get a call by the end of this week or i might be forced to call the partner myself. Seriously what's the point of waiting after this week anyway?

Whgm45Busy season has started...
I know that. but how long does it take to tell the HR whether or not you want to hire the person you interviewed? like 7 seconds?
The question you should be asking is 'Where am I on this partners priority list during busy season?' Its not about how long it takes him to tell HR, its about him thinking about it while he has 100 fires to put out.

The only thing you need to do right now is chill the fuck out. You've already been in contact with them, they gave you a very reasonable answer, now you wait!

I have ZERO problems telling it to your face tough guy. You're being a total pussy about this. Gee, you waited a whole two weeks - how did you get by??? :) Gimme a break - you're a pussy and they probably detected that in the interview and are MAKING you wait. I wouldn't hire you if my life depended on it.
