Should I wait?

I'm transferring to a target next fall for my junior year. Can I start emailing local alumni to see if I can do some grunt work in their offices this summer or should I wait until I actually start attending the school?

i'd recommend waiting, since them asking you for information regarding your 'school' might force you to reveal that you're not actually a student there yet- could get awkward however, if you're confident you can avoid the subject, go ahead
