Sophomore Internships in NYC
Current Duke sophomore looking for internship ideas. Already applying to Goldman, JP, Morgan Stanley. Hoping for more suggestions. Ultimate goal is I-banking.
Stats: Econ major 3.5 GPA Multiple Extra-cirriculars
Don't forget Blackstone private equity. I know it's not investment banking, but it's a pretty good safety.

Looking to break into the bank as a sophomore, likely wont be in IBD but something in the bank so my summer of year two can set me up to land the IBD summer internship in year 3. Any advice ?
Have seen it being done but incredibly rare, from that I've seen the ones that have are almost always harvard/wharton. Having the brand name is great, but having ANY IB/PE/AM internship prior to junior year summer will make you a competitive candidate.
Do you go to a target?
