Sophomore Summer Internship for Upcoming Recruiting

Hey guys just a quick question. Does having an internship for summer 2024 matter a lot for recruiting? For context, I will be recruiting for SA 2025, so the next couple of months hopefully. My resume already has three finance internship boutique IB, HF, and PE. I honestly slacked off a bit when looking for internships this upcoming summer. Will it hurt my chances if I don't get something in time before recruiting kicks off to full swing?

just knowing older people at my school and they kind of just guided me on how many to do and where to apply

To be honest, since recruiting for junior SA is so early nowadays, it doesn't matter that much. Esp if you're at a target. You already have tons of great finance experience on your resume, so don't stress too much about this upcoming summer. If you can get another internship at a boutique bank (assuming you're non diverse and don't qualify for sophomore SA's with bigger banks) with enough deals, then having live deal experience would be great. Recruiting will likely be over before you even get to summer, but it'll be nice to have that experience just for your own development.
