Spring Weeks 2018 - London

Hello Everyone!

This is my first post so excited to hear from this community and the vast knowledge that exists here :)

I am concerned about my applications for spring weeks for London 2018.

Key Points: 1. I applied to several places (23): a. IBs - GS, JPM, Citi, BAML, CS, DB, Barclays, MS, UBS, Evercore, HSBC, Rothschild, Macquarie, Nomura, Santander b. IM - Blackrock, Schroders c. Others - BoE, EY, Deloitte, BP, Shell, OW

  1. Hirevue Interview invites: a. Blackrock, Shell, UBS

  2. Current rejections (7):

  3. UBS (mic was terrible), DB (test problems), Barclays, JPM, MS, Nomura (spammed through questions) & Citi.

  4. Bulk of applications sent off mid-late November (Delayed due to a highly significant change that would occur on my CV)

  5. Got to semi-target university & study economics.

My question: Seeing as I have had no interview offer that has been live with another person, and it has now been over a month for literally all my applications, is there any hope? There has been a lot of silence surrounding my applications and I am starting to get worried that I won't get a spring week. Can somebody enlighten me on my situation.

Seeking info on: 1. Which firms have started to give out offers/interview invites? 2a. What date where you interview INVITES given out for? 2b. How long after submitting your numerical/application? 3. Average wait period before a response from a bank?

Disclaimer: I understand that I have no power over my applications, but if I am really that bad why not outright reject me? Surely there is no need for me to be on a waitlist if I haven't even secured a 1st round interview let alone a 2nd! Rejections haven't been getting to me too badly, it is the silence that annoys me more.

Appreciate the time it took to read this all (Sorry no TL;DR), and thank you in advance for all the help :)
