Staying in Touch with a Firm after Initial Outreach or Interview?
I applied to a boutique through the MDs' email on their career page for general opportunities. Usually, I don't receive any response but one of the MD replied saying they currently do not have any openings.
Since I received a response, I was thinking of how I can learn more about the firm aside from the website, the best way to stay up to date, and whether it is appropriate to reach out asking for a call. Is he replying out of courtesy and wants to keep it strictly to that (no networking solicitations)?
What is the best way to stay in touch with the firm if at all?
And I guess you can apply this after interviews when you get rejected. What are people's thoughts on keeping in contact with HR or the interviewer?
