I was interviewing a few days ago for an SVP role at a MM/UMM IB and the head of the group spent a solid 5 minutes of the 30 minute meeting (first round) basically talking smack about his existing team. Particularly the VPs. Certainly a red flag from a culture standpoint. That being said, it just felt really odd. Has anyone else had something similar happen or had any other very strange discussions during inverviews?
