Switch from Corporate to Investments

I’m currently working as an Equity Research Analyst at a small brokerage company. I am a Level II Candidate in the CFA Program. Lately I’ve been given the chance to work for a big, well-known and respected corporation as a Financial Analyst (higher wage as well). So now I’m stuck with this dilemma whether to switch or not. On the one hand I would have the advantage to work for this well-known company versus the brokerage firm no one heard of, but on the other hand I would get farther away from an investment career. Besides, working as a corporate Financial Analyst I won’t get to apply much of what I learn in the CFA Program. They say it is very hard to switch from corporate finance to investments. I’d easier accept the job if I knew my chances of getting back into investments would not be seriously reduced. Please Help !
