Switching from Accounting/Financial Reporting to Investment Banking/Equity Research
Hi,
I've finished my undergrad in Accounting and I work as a Financial Analyst mostly focused on all financial reporting aspects. I'm currently doing my CFA (Level 1) and I do a lot of investing with my own money, build financial models.
Trying to switch from Accounting to Finance - I wanted to ask a few questions.
1) Being good with financial reporting, financial analysis of financial statements, what branch of Finance would be more ideal for me to start with or would give me the best chance? 2) Should I aim for an MBA or CFA is fine?
Thank you :)
